The establishment of Faculty of Sport Science (Faculty of Sport Science and Coaching (FSSK) (begin 1 June 2010) has been approved by the Senate and the Ministry of Education on the 1st February 2005. The main task of the faculty is to produce graduates who are knowledgeable, skilful and capable in the field of Sport Science, Physical Education and Coaching Sciences. The programmes which are offered at the faculty mainly based on Sports Science domain across other subjects such as Basic Science, Mathematics, Education and Social Sciences.
The faculty itself becomes a centre for training and professional development for those who involve in educational field and also being a centre for an academic and professional excellencies particularly related to the field of Sport Science, Physical Education and Coaching Sciences.
The faculty recommend several courses in Sport Science, Physical Education and Coaching Sciences for undergraduates’ studies. Meanwhile for post graduate studies, the courses that are offered by the faculty are Master of Education (Sport Science), Master of Sport Science (Sport Psychology), Master of Sport Science (Sport Coaching) and Doctor of Philosophy (Sport Science Education).
